WHO AM I?
I am a Paris-based private tutor with over a decade of experience working with kids, teenagers and young adults. With each student, my goal is to enhance confidence and build the necessary skill-set to ensure success in elementary, middle school, high school and beyond. Outside of my life as a teacher, I love to make art and jewelry, practice jiu jitsu, compete in Crossfit competitions and go for walks with my dog.
EXPERIENCE:
As a certified Ontario and BC teacher with over 10 years of experience, I am extremely familiar with all aspects of the curricula as well as the expectations for successful grades. I have taught and tutored all subjects from kindergarten to grade 9, and have specialized in high school English, Spanish, Social Science, and all levels of French (including French Immersion and French First-Language).

B.A. Honours with a double major in French Language and Literature and Hispanic Culture (Western University/Universidad de las Americas)

Masters of Environmental Education (Queen’s University)
At Teach 2 Love, the goal is to design lessons for the student, not the grade-level. With a focus on learning for life, not memorizing for the moment. My goal and passion is to teach kids to love learning.
Working one-on one allows the student to work at a pace that enables learning in a more comfortable setting, without the expectations of a classroom.
From my personal teaching experience, incredible things can be accomplished when children are taught in a way that is catered to the student’s interests and way of learning.
I’ll help with homework and other concrete tasks while building deep conceptual understanding so that the learning lasts.
I personalize learning for students with a variety of learning profiles (including learning disabilities, giftedness, autism, and social/emotional challenges).
I can help students master the skills that enable them to plan, focus their attention, manage time, stay organized, and juggle multiple tasks successfully.
My love for teaching is rooted deep in those “aha” moments and seeing students smile and laugh as they learn.
